UrgentVet Albuquerque is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our hospital team and oversee daily operations, ensuring after-hours acute care delivery while maintaining a positive work culture. The ideal candidate has veterinary service experience, strong people leadership, and comfort working with veterinarians.

You will champion client-first care, efficiency, and financial stability across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine or related field.
• People management experience.
• Comfort working alongside veterinarians.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Patient Advocacy: Be the advocate for patients and uphold a 'Pet-First, Client-First' philosophy, ensuring compassionate care.
• Community Engagement & Brand Ambassadorship: Build relationships with referring veterinarians and local businesses, promoting UrgentVet as the go-to for urgent care.
• Inclusive Workplace Culture: Foster a safe, inclusive environment where every team member is valued.
• Reports to the Regional Director of Operations, UrgentVet.
• Typically scheduled 40-45 hours/week with occasional longer hours.
• On-site presence required to support patient care and team collaboration.
