Job summary

Professional Contract Services, Inc. in SILL, OK is seeking a Plumber after hours to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems at FT. SILL, OK.

The role reports to the FT. SILL Plumbing Supervisor and requires the ability to read blueprints, follow codes, and work a Wednesday-Sunday shift from 3:30pm to midnight. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, five years of relevant experience, and proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years' experience related to the ability to perform the assigned duties.
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and codes.
• Study building plans for determining work aids and sequence of installations.
• Locate and mark positions of pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors.
• Bend, cut, and thread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and machines.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipe composed of metals, glass vitrifies, clay and plastic.
• Join pipe using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvents, and caulk.
• Leak tests pipe systems using water and gases.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures, sinks, dishwashers, commodes, and hot water heater tanks.
• Repair and maintain leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, opening clogged drains, stationary drainage, storm water, storm drainage, vents, sizing sanitary drainage and protecting potable water supply.
