Job summary

Professional Contract Services, Inc. in SILL, OK is seeking a Plumber after hours to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems at FT. SILL, OK.

The role reports to the FT. SILL Plumbing Supervisor and requires the ability to read blueprints, follow codes, and work a Wednesday-Sunday shift from 3:30pm to midnight. Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and codes.
• Study building plans for determining work aids and sequence of installations.
• Locate and mark positions of pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes for pipe in walls and floors.
• Bend, cut, and thread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch and machines.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipe composed of metals, glass vitrifies, clay and plastic.
• Join pipe using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvents, and caulk.
• Leak tests pipe systems using water and gases.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures, sinks, dishwashers, commodes, and hot water heater tanks.
• Repair and maintain leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, opening clogged drains, stationary drainage, storm water, storm drainage, vents, sizing sanitary drainage and protecting potable water supply.

Job description

PCSI is looking for a Plumber after hours at FT. SILL, OK. The Plumber after hours performs facility plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs. This position will reports to FT. SILL Plumbing Supervisor and is based at FT. SILL, OK. Typical work hours are Wednesday - Sunday 3:30pm to 12 midnight.

• Base pay of $26.67 an hour plus Health and Welfare

What You'll Do as Plumber, after hours:

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years' experience related to the ability to perform the assigned duties.
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach.
• Require to be able to lift 75lbs up to 10 times per day.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
• Requires working knowledge of related equipment.
• Requires ability to use hand tools, power tools, and appliances required for installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures.
• Requires ability to follow maintenance instructions, service, diagnose systems and complete repairs.
• Requires demonstrated knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather is needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
• Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
• If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
