Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years in park operations; five years preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of methods, tools and materials in park ops.
• Ability to use computers and various applications.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Must supervise staff and maintain relationships with customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-hours Parks and Recreation operations for 200+ athletic fields and facilities.
• Prepare daily work schedules and set priorities for assignments.
• Ensure staff comply with safety rules and training.
• Gathers information for incident and accident reports.
• Communicate with the public daily by handling after-hours calls.
• Serve as main after-hours contact for the department.
