Job summary

RCC is seeking an after hours Project Manager with knowledge of Networking, Data Centers, and IT Infrastructure. This full-time role is 100% remote and includes 3–6 months of internal training.

The candidate will manage and coordinate resources for global power events in data centers, with hours varying by time zone and weekends often required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in project coordination/management, proficiency with MS Excel, and some ServiceNow experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Project Coordinator/Project Manager or related technical management role.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Experience with technology database systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills are required.
• Some ServiceNow experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to schedule and run projects remotely.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and coordinate resources for power events at data centers globally.
• Set deadlines, use client platforms, and govern responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee power-ups and power-downs at multiple sites and data centers worldwide.
• Communicate effectively with RCC project team and client IT teams to drive service improvements.
• Work nights and weekends as projects are implemented.

RCC is a full service IT firm which provides solutions for the development and support of IT infrastructure. We serve a broad range of clients, from large complex enterprises to small and mid-sized companies.

We currently seek an after hoursProject Manager with knowledge of Networking, Data Centers, and/or Infrastructure. This is a full-time salaried role and is 100% remote. Training is provided by the internal team and will take 3 - 6 months.

DUE TO THE INTENSITY OF TRAINING, WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WILLING TO MAKE A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT.

This resource will be managing projects and coordinating resources for "power events"for data centers globally. This work can be done remotely from your home. Hours/days vary depending on the time zone where the data center is located. Power testing tends to take place on weekends when no workers are in the office, so weekend work is essential.

Candidate will be working with the RCC project team as well as client IT teams. The focus for this position is to manage and perform power-ups and power-downs at multiple sites and data centers worldwide. You will oversee all aspects of your projects, setting deadlines, utilizing various client platforms, governing responsibilities, and overall client satisfaction through proper communication and service improvements.

• 2+years of experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Manager ORrelated technical management role.A technician operating in infrastructure technology looking to switch to a management role is encouraged to apply
• Candidate must be willing to work nights and weekends as these are the times that projects are implemented and likely planning meetings held.
• Experience with technology database systems.
