Job summary

Hospice of the East Bay is a community-based nonprofit hospice and palliative care organization serving patients and families for nearly 50 years. The RN provides direct nursing care in patients' homes and in our six-bed inpatient facility, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and their families.

The role requires California RN license, at least one year of nursing experience, CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse License required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid California Driver’s License and a car in good working condition.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain and develop a pain management plan.
• Coordinate patient and family services with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care and patient progress.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers.
