The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in the medical field or related role, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A schedule blending in-office and remote work supports a geriatric patient focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in medical field, medical office experience, or related position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate after-hours calls, orders, and communication with on-call providers, patients, facilities, and families.
• Communicate significant findings and changes to primary care providers and involved staff.
• Manage after-hours planning, coordination, and evaluation of care plans for patients and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information in line with policy.
• Answer calls after hours and address concerns or changes in patient condition.
• Provide support and guidance to staff and families on health care concerns.
