Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and well-being of students in an after‑school enrichment program for students in pre‑K. This position is daily from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The applicant should have a strong understanding of the developmental and emotional needs of children ages 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and able to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Responsibilities include planning and leading age‑appropriate games and activities for students in collaboration with another after‑school staff member.

Education and Experience

Qualified candidates should have experience working with children and be over the age of 18. Preschool or prekindergarten experience preferred, but not required. Must have Safe Environment certification or ability to take the class prior to starting.
