Location: St. Patrick's Elkhorn, 20500 West Maple Rd, Elkhorn, Nebraska 68022

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for students in the before- and after-school care program.
• Supervise students at all times, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to school expectations.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and enrichment opportunities.
• Assist students with homework and encourage positive academic habits.
• Promote respectful behavior, positive social interactions, and conflict resolution.
• Support and model the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic Church and school.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and complete incident or behavior reports as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student needs and concerns.
• Assist with snack distribution, program setup, cleanup, and maintain an organized environment.
• Follow all school, arch-diocesan, and safety procedures, including emergency protocols.

• Knowledge of child supervision and age-appropriate behavior management techniques.

Education and Experience

• Successful completion of all required diocesan background checks, safe environment training, and employment requirements.
• Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, recreational, or related setting preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
