Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking an Assembly Technician for Aft-End to join a mission-driven team building the Nova reusable launch vehicle. You will hands-on assemble, align, and validate propulsion and structural systems, ensuring tight tolerances and flight-critical performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on aerospace or rocket/jet engine assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and calibrated hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate rocket engines, structure, and subsystems on the aft end.
• Lead AFT build and integration, including layout, tooling, processes, and scheduling.
• Install and torque flight-critical hardware per drawings and instructions.
• Perform precise alignments and measurements using calibrated tools.
• Support leak checks, functional testouts of propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot, document non-conformances, and drive improvements.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment following FOD, ESD, and cleanliness standards.
