Job summary

Three Saints Bay, LLC in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support the FSO by managing DoD and federal security programs. The role involves processing clearance requests, maintaining files, and coordinating security activities with program managers and subsidiary AFSOs.

The AFSO will work with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and related requirements, ensuring compliance and timely execution of security tasks across contracts.

Qualifications

• Must possess current DoD Security Clearance at the Secret or higher level.
• 3+ years as an AFSO or FSO.
• 3+ years of government contracting experience.
• Complete CDSE FSO training within 120 days of employment.
• Experience with DCSA databases (DISS, NBIS, SWFT).
• Knowledge of government security and information assurance processes.
• Experience handling PII and CUI securely.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer personnel security clearance processes, including initial submissions and reinvestigations.
• Maintain security documentation in accordance with DCSA requirements.
• Provide personnel suitability processing support for Federal agencies and components.
• Conduct security briefings/debriefings and investigate incidents.
• Manage classified holdings and prepare transmittals per NISPOM guidelines.
• Assist with development and tracking of security training.
• Support documentation for DCSA assessments.
• Provide security support to HR, Contracts, and Proposal teams.
• Assist with daily security activities and access control.
