Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced AFSIM simulation analyst to support NGIC, formulating, analyzing, executing, and delivering M&S studies to answer customer questions.

You will break down scenarios by working backwards from the expected deliverable, map the project timelines, and document steps, assumptions, limitations, known gaps, and issues for peer review. This role requires a DoD TS/SCI clearance, strong C++, MATLAB, Python and other modeling skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in physics, engineering, computer science, applied math, or similar; master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• 3+ years in a M&S role on DoD programs using AFSIM.
• Experience with multiple M&S tool suites; AFSIM experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• C++ programming and MATLAB, Python, R.

Responsibilities

• Solid foundation in the scientific method and in developing a research plan leading to publishable reports.
• Conduct experiments to understand system behavior and evaluate strategies.
• Technical proficiency with M&S models (AFSIM + ODESSA) and related tools.
• Use experimentation to reveal insights and shorten test durations.
• Format problems to leverage DOE processes and document tests and results.
• Apply statistical and graphical methods; write test plans and reports.
