Job summary

Worldscape Technology Inc. is building a breakthrough platform for geospatial intelligence and defense applications. We seek an AFSIM Modeler/Software Engineer to extend our simulation and analytics capabilities at Redmond, WA with flexible remote options.

You will develop mission-level analytics, models, and integrations within a modern software environment. You will work at the intersection of simulation and software engineering, applying mission modeling frameworks to next‑gen simulation

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on AFSIM experience with models or scenarios.
• Strong programming in C++ or Python.
• Experience building or working with simulation models in aerospace/defense/robotics.
• Able to read and modify existing code and architectures independently.
• Experience debugging complex software or simulation behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain AFSIM models and scenarios representing aerospace and defense systems.
• Design models for aircraft, weapons, sensors, and mission systems.
• Extend AFSIM with software, scripts, and tooling to automate workflows.
• Create reusable modeling components and infrastructure for multiple scenarios.
• Translate requirements into robust simulation models and integrate into larger environments.
• Run simulations, debug, and improve model fidelity and performance.
• Develop automated workflows for scenario generation and data processing.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to ensure models reflect real systems.
• Participate in reviews, testing, and documentation.
