The role requires 2+ years in modeling/analysis, 1+ year with AFSIM, and a Top Secret clearance. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential for success in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of modeling and simulation or operations analysis.
• 1+ years of experience with AFSIM, including mission-level modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ability to interpret and model operational concepts, threat laydowns, and system characteristics from government documentation and SMEs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on objectives defined by the client.
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional teams of engineers, intel community, and stakeholders to translate operational requirements into AFSIM models.
• Perform post-processing and visualization of AFSIM datasets to derive actionable insights for decision-making.
• Develop and execute complex AFSIM-based platform performance and system-of-systems analyses.
• Apply VV&A processes to ensure credibility of AFSIM models and results.
• Support documentation of models, scenarios, methodologies, and findings for knowledge transfer and oversight.
• Stay current with AFSIM capabilities and DoD modeling best practices to deliver innovative analytical solutions.
