Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an AFSIM Developer in Crane, Indiana to support advanced modeling and simulation efforts for the U.S. Navy by developing, integrating, and enhancing AFSIM-based capabilities.

This role focuses on software development, model engineering, and simulation framework integration, with hands-on work in Python, C/C++, and MATLAB. A Secret clearance or higher is required, with TS/SCI preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing within AFSIM or similar modeling and simulation environments.
• Strong programming experience with Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB.
• Background in software development, systems engineering, and model integration.
• Experience with model validation, verification, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and integrate models within the AFSIM framework.
• Design and implement simulation capabilities using Python, C/C++, and MATLAB.
• Build and maintain threat models, flight path models, and EW effects within simulation environments.
• Support EMSO and strategic deterrence modeling initiatives.
