Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks an AFRICOM Logistics Planner to support theater logistics aligned to AFRICOM requirements. The role translates operational needs into coordinated sustainment plans for autonomous systems, support equipment, and other mission-critical capabilities, across dispersed locations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in military logistics planning, holds an active TS/SCI clearance, and will work on-site in Tampa with travel for planning and field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Four+ years of military logistics planning and sustainment experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience developing logistics plans for military operations.
• Knowledge of joint/service logistics planning and supply/maintenance relationships.
• Ability to work on-site in Tampa and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop theater logistics estimates and sustainment plans for AFRICOM-focused operations.
• Translate requirements into supply, maintenance, transportation, and field-support needs.
• Prepare inputs to plans; assess constraints and risk; recommend actions.
• Coordinate with combatant commands, services, vendors, and providers.
• Maintain logistics status products, readiness assessments, and risk registers.
• Develop contingency logistics options for disrupted distribution.
