Job summary

CRMG seeks an Affordable Property Manager for two apartment communities in Milwaukie, OR, totaling 60 units (Walsh Commons LIHTC/PBV and Seneca Terrace HUD). You will manage day-to-day property operations, marketing, resident screening, rent collection, notices, reporting, and will supervise one maintenance technician.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience required.
• One year of LIHTC or HUD property management experience required.
• Yardi Property Management software experience preferred.
• MS365 (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel) basic proficiency required.
• Understanding landlord/tenant laws, Fair Housing laws and safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property management for Walsh Commons and Seneca Terrace.
• Market the properties and screen prospective residents.
• Collect rents, issue notices, and prepare reports.
• Prepare leasing agreements and supervise one maintenance technician.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC/HUD requirements.

About this position

Description:

CRMG, a commercial and residential management group, is looking for an Affordable Property Manager with amazing attention to detail and exceptional customer service for two apartment communities - a total of 60 units, at Walsh Commons (LIHTC and PBV) and Seneca Terrace (HUD).

The Affordable Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day property management including marketing, maintaining property integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports, and preparing agreements. This position will also supervise one maintenance technician.

Location: Seneca Terrace Apartments and Walsh Commons Apartments (Milwaukie, OR)

Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $31.00

Schedule: FT, Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM or similar

Weekly Contracted Hours: 40 hrs.

Additional Compensation: A monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

What you will bring as the Affordable Property Manager

• Two (2) years of previous customer service experience are required.
• One (1) year of previous LIHTC or HUD property management experience are required.
• Previous Yardi Property Management Software experience is preferred.
• Basic experience with MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks involving collecting rent, preparation of reports, agreements, etc.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
• Available for after-hours emergencies.
• Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
