Neighborhood Lending Partners (NLP) seeks a detail-oriented underwriting teammate to evaluate affordable multi- and single-family developments using LIHTC and conventional financing. Reporting to the COO, the role focuses on credit risk, financial analysis, and underwriting new transactions as funding sources emerge.

You will work closely with member banks and customers to prepare packages, perform annual reviews, and provide credit research to support loan decisions within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, real estate, or related field.
• 1-2 years of Commercial Banking experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs, including MS Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Utilize and enhance financial models for development budgets, sources of financing, and operating pro-formas.
• Prepare underwriting packages for loan committee review.
• Complete financial analysis of borrowers' statements.
• Provide credit research as directed.
• Assist Portfolio Manager with annual portfolio assessments.
• Provide ongoing risk monitoring of the loan portfolio.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
