If so, Red Oak Management Co., Inc. is looking for a full-time Affordable Housing Office Administrator to join our team at our Detroit, MI headquarters. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of an organization dedicated to supporting affordable housing while building a stable and rewarding career.
$18-$22 per hour
Experience in housing or hospitality, knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations, and a genuine passion for the mission of affordable housing are preferred.
Must have the ability to pass a background check.
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many residents and prospective applicants, creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they call or walk through our doors. You'll answer questions about Detroit-area properties, direct calls to the appropriate team members, collect rent payments, distribute rental applications, document work orders, and coordinate requests with the appropriate parties. Behind the scenes, you'll keep critical office functions organized by handling scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative responsibilities that help our headquarters operate smoothly and serve residents effectively.
