About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and mentor the Maintenance Team, oversee maintenance and capital improvement needs at an assigned FPI managed site, and ensure compliance with client expectations, budget, and management agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance personnel including technicians, groundskeepers, porters, and cleaners.
• Implement daily and preventative maintenance programs.
• Inspect property and common areas daily for maintenance issues.
• Coordinate and complete maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Perform semi-annual apartment inspections and maintenance on vacant units.
• Serve as on-call maintenance for emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensure safety, orderliness, and proper inventory in maintenance shops.
• Prepare properties for inspections such as NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including city officials, financial institutions, and non-profit partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Director.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within residential property management, hotel maintenance, facilities, or construction.
• High School diploma or equivalent; industry certifications like CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT preferred.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and be medically cleared for duty.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, and internet.
