Job summary

Community Housing Services Agency, Inc. (CHSA) seeks a Housing Development Inspector to coordinate housing programs from property assessments to final inspections.

You will work with home buyers, developers, and city partners to ensure code compliance and program standards across CHSA projects. Responsibilities include managing plan reviews, site prep, rehabilitation projects, inspections, and cost estimates, with a focus on single-family to multi-family developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Architecture or Construction Management with 3 years in community development, project or construction management or contract administration.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with acceptable driving history.
• Background check, drug screen and education/certifications verification required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans, specifications, and estimates for housing programs.
• Coordinate site preparation, layout, rehabilitation, and building inspections.
• Oversee contractor work, payments, and final draws for housing projects.
• Inspect new construction and Dream Maker/EAHPP program homes.
• Work with buyers, developers, inspectors, lenders, and partners to ensure standards.
