Related Affordable is seeking a Community Manager in Madison, TN to lead daily operations of an affordable housing community. You will oversee leasing, staff supervision, budgeting, and compliance with LIHTC and HUD rules, while driving resident satisfaction and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards or similar systems.
• Proven leadership with direct supervisory experience.
• Proactive problem-solving with a resident-centered approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the onsite team through hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure seamless accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency control.
• Foster strong resident relations and resolve tenant disputes.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC).
• Supervise maintenance and ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Develop and manage the property's budget and financials.
• Prepare key performance reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead special projects to enhance the community and operations.
