Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee technical and program execution of T408 Affordability programs, influencing life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability, and ILS across teams. You will coordinate with Systems Engineering, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet schedules and contracts, mentor teammates, and partner with key stakeholders to optimize CIP/CRI strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or related science.
• Minimum 6 years in a program or project leadership role within engineering.
• GE Aerospace sponsorship not available for employment visas.

Responsibilities

• Recommend approaches to meet technical and program requirements.
• Formulate plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
• Provide technical guidance to teams and personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data per policies.
• Monitor and communicate project status and developments.
• Lead and energize team members, defining group goals and milestones.
• Partner with Military Customer and affordability leads on life cycle cost models.
• Coordinate with Sourcing, Manufacturing Programs, Systems Engineering on opportunities.
