Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee technical and program execution of T408 Affordability programs, driving life cycle cost reductions and improving reliability and maintainability.

You will coordinate with Systems Engineering, Design Engineering and Supply Chain, mentor team members, lead efforts to meet technical requirements and schedules, and ensure proper documentation and communication across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering/technical field.
• 6+ years in a program or project leadership role within engineering.

Responsibilities

• Recommend approaches to meet technical and program requirements.
• Formulate plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contracts.
• Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
• Provide technical guidance to teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data.
• Monitor and communicate project status and developments.
• Lead or participate in project efforts and mentor team members.
• Partner with Military Customer, Cost/Price processes, and engineers to drive affordability.
