The Nokbox seeks an experienced affiliate program leader to own growth, performance, and engagement across influencer channels. You will recruit creators, plan collaborations in TikTok Shop, and expand presence on Amazon storefronts, with a focus on onboarding and ongoing education.

Remote, 1099 contractor role based in the United States. You will manage communications, strategy, and audits, ensuring FTC compliance while driving revenue through affiliate activations.

About The Nokbox

The Nokbox helps families get their important documents, accounts, and household information into one place. More than 500,000 families have one, the product has earned 11,000+ five-star reviews, and we have been featured in The New York Times and Forbes. We are a small remote team headquartered in Littleton, Colorado.

The role

The program works beautifully when affiliates actually post. The honest challenge, and the reason this role exists, is that too many people sign up, collect their link, and then go quiet. Recruiting matters here, and activation matters more.

You would own the growth, performance, and engagement of the program across all three, with full discretion over how you do the work.

What you would own

• Recruiting creators and influencers on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, running outbound discovery rather than waiting for applications
• Launching creator collaborations in our TikTok Shop, which is set up and has never been used
• Getting the Nokbox into Amazon storefronts and onto shoppable video, where we currently have no presence at all
• Recruiting across our professional segments: professional organizers, senior move managers, real estate agents, funeral directors, end-of-life professionals, and insurance producers
• Designing the onboarding experience, so a newly approved affiliate knows exactly what their first post should be
• Ongoing education, support, and community for the affiliate base, and direct relationships with top performers
• Re-engaging the dormant list, meaning affiliates who were approved, never posted, and are still sitting there
• Outreach strategies, promotional initiatives, and proposed content for brand review
• The quarterly FTC disclosure audit, the audit log, and enforcement of our affiliate conduct rules
• A monthly performance report covering approvals, activation rate, revenue, and commissions

Our Customer Service Director keeps affiliate approvals, commission payouts, discount codes, affiliate support issues, and system access, so those stay off your plate.

How success is measured

Affiliate-attributed revenue across every channel, activation rate within the first 30 days, affiliates producing at least one sale per quarter, creator collaborations live in TikTok Shop, Amazon storefronts carrying the Nokbox, and the quarterly audit completed on schedule. We would agree targets with you in the first month rather than handing you numbers on day one.

What is already built

You would not be starting from a blank page. There is a content library of captions, hooks, Canva template sets, and customer videos, a live recruitment landing page, branded onboarding PDFs, a written FTC compliance policy with a defined audit method, and segment strategy documents for several target professions.

Compensation

Performance-based, with no salary and no guaranteed minimum. Earnings are uncapped.

• 3% of gross affiliate revenue, excluding refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and shipping. This applies to the whole program, not only to affiliates you recruit, so improving the existing base pays you the same as signing a new one.
• $25 activation bonus for each affiliate you recruit who reaches $25 in earned commissions for the first time
• Monthly invoicing. Affiliate sales clear a 30-day verification period, and approved invoices are paid within 30 days.

Who this is for

Our first requirement is that you are, or have been, an affiliate or creator yourself. People who have earned commission themselves know what makes an affiliate post and what makes them quit, and that is most of this job. Beyond that:

• You know your way around TikTok Shop, Amazon creator tools, and a platform such as UpPromote, Refersion, or Impact
• You have recruited creators directly, and you know how to make a case to someone who has other monetization options
• You are comfortable with commission-only compensation and the ramp that comes with it
• You enjoy the relationship side, because activation is a people problem more than a platform one
• You write well and quickly, since most of this job happens in writing
• You understand FTC endorsement disclosure requirements, or are willing to learn them

This is probably not the right role if you want salaried work, or if you would rather live in the dashboard than talk to people. One thing worth knowing: some professions are subject to licensing or employer rules about outside compensation. Whether a given professional can take part is their own call, and we do not advise on it.

Independent contractor, 1099, responsible for your own taxes. Remote and US based, with your own hours and equipment. A company email address is provided. Trade shows are optional and at your own expense unless approved in advance. Standard contract terms apply, including a signed NDA, a twelve-month non-solicitation period, and thirty days’ notice to terminate on either side. Governed by Colorado law.
