Lyra Health is seeking a fully remote Affiliate Mental Health Provider to deliver short-term psychotherapy to employees and their families as an independent contractor. Sessions can be virtual or in-person through Lyra’s Connected Calendar platform, with structured case management and outcome measures to guide care.

As a licensed clinician, you’ll operate with high autonomy, flexibly scheduling sessions, and collaborating with Lyra’s Clinical Case Management team to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Fully licensed and registered Mental Health Professional: Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker MSW.
• Demonstrated experience in short-term psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and structured evidence-based practices.
• Dedicated professional Google Account (Gmail and Google Calendar) configured for Lyra network operations.

As a Lyra Affiliate Mental Health Provider, you will deliver short-term, high-impact psychotherapy and counseling to employees and their families. Operating as an independent contractor, you’ll leverage Lyra’s seamless Connected Calendar platform to allow members to book virtual or in-person sessions directly, giving you complete flexibility and control over your clinical schedule.

This opportunity allows you to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional client care—while supported by structured case management tools in Salesforce, standardized clinical outcome measures, and active collaboration with Lyra’s regional Clinical Case Management team.

This is a fully remote, contractor position.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Clinical Excellence & Short-Term Therapy

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand member needs and build personalized, short-term treatment plans.

• Deliver individual/couples/ parent/adolescent/child therapy tailored to your professional specializations and clinical strengths.

• Utilize goal-focused, evidence-based modalities (such as CBT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma-Informed Care) to empower long-term member resilience.

• Track clinical progress using validated outcome tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7) at key milestones to celebrate client progress and refine care strategies.

• Complete clear Post-Assessment Feedback (PAF) forms to outline treatment goals, impact, and safety planning after initial visits.

What We’re Looking For:

Professional Licensure:

• Fully licensed and registered Mental Health Professional: Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker MSW.

• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in short-term psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and structured evidence-based practices.

• Technical Infrastructure:

  • Dedicated professional Google Account (Gmail and Google Calendar) configured specifically for Lyra network operations.

  • High-speed internet access and a secure, confidential environment for telehealth appointments.

Preferred Specializations

• Experience treating trauma/complex PTSD, military/veteran populations, grief, or substance use.

• Specializations in neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism Spectrum), children/adolescents, parental guidance, or LGBTQ+ care.

• Additional language capabilities (e.g., Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish).

Required Documents

• Copy of academic degree diploma (Bachelor's / Master's).

• Coaching certification or professional credential from an accredited institution/association.

• Signed practicum and supervision hours verification.

• Active membership certificate and rank confirmation from CCIL or equivalent organization.
