The Affiliate Faculty member will facilitate learning for practicing teachers on the basis of adult learning principles.This opportunity is restricted to qualified candidates within the Cherry Creek Cohort.Major Duties and Responsibilities:The Affiliate Faculty member will facilitate classes in the semester, 8-week, and/or intensive formats.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Aligning content in classes consistent with the school and department policiesProviding instruction in assigned classes consistent with the learning objectives of the course syllabusBeing available to students in assigned classes to provide academic supportEffectively utilizing Regis technology systems to provide timely feedback for students on course learning/workMinimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in the field of Education6+ years of experience as a school administrator (Principal or higher)Preferred Qualifications:Current principal’s license and significant recent K-12 leadership experienceExcellent facilitation and interpersonal skillsOnline teaching experienceValues which include a belief in project learning, understanding of and respect for adult learners and their experiences, enthusiasm for life-long learning, and a passion for educating future teachers.Special Instructions to Applicants:Please submit a CV/resume, cover letter and list of references with your application.
