Job summary

Bitpanda is seeking an Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Compliance Associate in the United States. You will design AFC dashboards, test controls, and engineer data-driven risk solutions across AML, CTF, and sanctions, collaborating with Product, Tech, and Operations.

Bring strong SQL, data visualization, and experience with AI/LLM workflows. Excellent English; German a plus. This hybrid role offers flexibility and growth within Bitpanda’s compliance function.

Qualifications

• Educational background in data analytics, finance, law, CS or related field.
• Strong SQL, data manipulation, and dashboarding skills.
• Familiarity with AML/CTF concepts and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AFC compliance dashboards and monitoring tools.
• Test and assess AFC controls (AML, CTF, sanctions, transaction monitoring).
• Develop data-driven AFC controls and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Data, and Operations to translate regulatory requirements into technical specs.
• Explore AI agents and low-code automations to streamline investigations.
