About the Role:
The AF Solutions Senior Clinical Specialist will promote and support the Watchman product line by educating current and potential customers within a defined area. This role involves clinical education, sales strategy, and support to help achieve or exceed sales goals and increase revenues within the assigned product lines. The specialist will collaborate closely with a dynamic team to build the Watchman brand in the territory.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Educating customers on the clinical usage and benefits of company products through presentations and demonstrations across various formats and platforms.
- Meeting with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) by traveling to assess their clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can help achieve their goals.
- Building relationships with hospital personnel at all levels, including staff, physicians, and administrators, to facilitate future sales and identify decision-makers.
- Responding to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with related personnel to optimize service.
- Providing guidance to exempt specialists and supervisory staff exercising significant independence.
- Fostering a diverse workplace where all participants can contribute fully to organizational objectives.
- Demonstrating effective change leadership and forming strategic partnerships within the organization.
- Assisting management in recruiting and coaching organizational talent.
- Implementing strategies from the quarterly plan to support market development, product launches, and competitive intelligence.
- Coordinating efforts with sales management to build strategic partnerships that further organizational goals.
- Developing relationships with key physicians and external partners to promote growth.
- Working proactively with sales management on strategic initiatives to improve effectiveness.
- Supporting coverage through on-call duties as necessary.
- Maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols, SOPs, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Managing clinical trial activities within the territory, including interest and site initiation visits.
- Educating investigators on protocols, clinical processes, and investigational products.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Structural Heart or Atrial Fibrillation is desirable.
- Technical aptitude and ability to explain complex product information.
- MS or higher degree in business or healthcare.
Compensation:
The annual base salary range is $70,000 to $105,000, plus variable incentives based on performance, along with core and optional benefits. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, certifications, and organizational needs.
