About the Role:

The AF Solutions Principal Clinical Specialist promotes and supports the Watchman product line through education of current and potential customers within a defined area. This role involves clinical education, sales strategy, and support to achieve or surpass sales goals and increase revenues. The specialist collaborates closely with a dynamic team to build the Watchman brand in the assigned territory.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Educate customers on product merits and clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations across various formats and platforms.
  • Meet with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) by traveling to identify their clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can meet their goals.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to facilitate sales and identify key decision-makers.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with related personnel.
  • Provide guidance to exempt specialists and supervisory staff exercising significant independence.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute fully.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships within the organization.
  • Assist management in recruiting and coaching organizational talent.
  • Implement and monitor strategies outlined in the quarterly plan of action.
  • Coordinate efforts with sales management to build strategic partnerships.
  • Develop relationships with key physicians and external partners to promote growth.
  • Identify strategic initiatives to improve area effectiveness.
  • Support coverage through on-call duties if necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance standards.
  • Manage clinical trial activities within the territory, including site visits and investigator education.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of industry experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical aptitude and ability to explain complex product information.
  • MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.

The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $120,000, plus variable incentives, benefits, and other compensation based on experience and qualifications.
