About the Role:
The AF Solutions Principal Clinical Specialist will promote and support the Watchman product line through customer education within a specified area. This role involves clinical education, sales strategy, and support to meet or exceed sales goals and increase revenue. The specialist will collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance the Watchman brand in their territory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Educating customers on the clinical benefits and proper usage of products via presentations and demonstrations across various formats and platforms to keep clients updated on product, therapy, and technology advancements.
  • Meeting with current and potential clients, such as physicians and hospital staff, traveling as needed to understand their clinical needs and demonstrate how our products can assist in patient care.
  • Building relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to facilitate contact and identify decision-makers for future sales opportunities.
  • Addressing customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Providing guidance to exempt specialists and supervisory staff exercising significant independence.
  • Promoting a diverse workplace that allows all employees to contribute fully towards organizational objectives.
  • Leading change initiatives and building strategic partnerships within the organization to enhance effectiveness and growth.
  • Assisting management with recruiting and coaching talent, demonstrating leadership in change management.
  • Implementing strategies from the quarterly plan of action, supporting market development, product launches, and competitive intelligence.
  • Coordinating efforts with sales management and representatives to build strategic partnerships for organizational success.
  • Developing relationships with key physicians and external partners to promote market growth.
  • Working proactively with sales management on strategic initiatives to improve area effectiveness.
  • Supporting coverage through on-call duties as necessary.
  • Maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations to meet organizational goals.
  • Managing clinical trial activities within the territory, including site visits and investigator education.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Structural Heart or Atrial Fibrillation is preferred.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex product information.
  • MS or higher degree in business or healthcare is advantageous.
