Job summary

Applied Energy Technology Corporation in Burton, Texas is seeking an AETC Technician to support the design, assembly, and final testing of life-support pyrotechnic and explosive components used in aerospace systems.

The role requires reading complex drawings, using microscopes and hand tools, soldering wires, and building manifolds, with strict safety and background-check requirements. A US Person is required due to facility access restrictions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years direct experience in electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and assembly instructions.
• Ability to use common hand tools to assemble electromechanical assemblies.
• Experience with soldering irons is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Removal of and reinstallation of Electrical Assemblies from unit housing.
• Perform Conformal Coating and Bonding requirements for the units.
• Build Manifolds for units that require modification.
• Remove and replace through hole and surface mount electronic components.
• Remove corrosion and clean all unit surfaces then touch up bare metal with chem film as required.
• Perform Final Assembly of units.
