Job summary

HRD AERO SYSTEMS INC is seeking a full-time assembler in Burton, TX to handle aerospace materials and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include assembly, inspection, and proper documentation of CADs and cartridges in a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to read complex instructions and use hand tools, with preferred experience in soldering. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load, and inspect CADs, impulse cartridges, and squibs.
• Perform precision assembly operations including crimping and torque verification.
• Maintain detailed production, inspection, and traceability documentation.

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load, and inspect CADs, impulse cartridges, and squibs in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Handle energetic materials used for aircraft safety and emergency actuation systems.
• Perform precision assembly operations including component insertion, crimping, staking, sealing, and torque verification.
• Maintain detailed production, inspection, and traceability documentation.
• Support scrap, rework, and safe disposition of energetic hardware.
• Follow EDS, FOD, and explosives safety controls.
• Perform final assembly of units.
• Complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and assembly instructions.
• Ability to use common hand tools to assemble electromechanical assemblies.
• Ability to lift and move boxes.
• Must be able to use microscopes, screwdrivers, torque tools, and other common hand tools.
• Experience with soldering irons is highly desired.
• Applicant must be a "US Person" as defined by ITAR (22CFR § 120.62); candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or Protected Individuals.
