Job summary

Applied Energy Technology Corporation in Burton, TX is seeking an AETC Technician to support the design, assembly and qualification of life-support pyrotechnic and explosive components for aerospace applications. The role involves electrical assembly, conformal coating, bonding, and final unit assembly.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of direct experience, be able to read complex drawings, use common hand tools and solder wires, and handle light to moderate lifting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years direct experience in electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficient with common hand tools to assemble electromechanical units.
• Soldering wires and ability to lift and move boxes.

Responsibilities

• Removal of and reinstallation of Electrical Assemblies from unit housing.
• Perform Conformal Coating and Bonding requirements for the units.
• Build Manifolds for units that require modification.
• Remove and replace through hole and surface mount electronic components.
• Remove corrosion and clean all unit surfaces then touch up bare metal with chem film as required.
• Perform Final Assembly of units.
