Aesthetician – Benefit Boutique

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Customer Service/Experience-

  1. Customer is the number one focus, and all employee actions are to reflect this priority.
  2. Greet customers in 30 seconds or less
  3. Follow the Beauty ABC’s & Service ABC’s selling formula, including all processes trained in the Global Service Handbook
  4. Maintain an enthusiastic floor presence
  5. Build and maintain good customer relationships
  6. Keep accurate and complete records in the Retail/POS system
  7. Safeguard and keep all customer information confidential; all customer information is the property of the Company and Retailer.
  8. Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
  9. Ensure all clients read and sign the service E-waiver form
  10. Perform only “Benefit-trained” services offered on the service menu and ensure customer satisfaction
  11. All other duties as assigned

-Results-

  1. Achieve daily/ weekly/ monthly individual service goals
  2. Maintain target services per hour
  3. Make product recommendations and hand over service customers to Beauty Artists at the end of the service

  7. Ensure that boutique deposits are maintained in accordance with Benefit’s policies
  8. Participate in inventory control
  9. Help maintain clean and safe sales and stock areas
  10. Communicate inventory needs and concerns to Boutique Proprietor
  11. Properly and accurately register all sales
  12. Ensure compliance with all Company and boutique policies and procedures

Requirements

  1. Able to perform the following physical duties including, but not limited to:
  2. Continuous standing/ walking for 8 hours
  3. Must be comfortable selling makeup & upselling services
  4. Must be comfortable with traffic-stopping outside of the Boutique
  5. Unpacking and lifting boxes up to 40 lbs
  6. Continuous bending of the neck, arms, torso, and legs for a minimum of 8 hours
  7. Cleaning displays and boutique
  8. Work in a fragrance-filled environment
  9. Maintain compliance with state board regulations
  10. Consistent and reliable attendance
  11. Operate the POS system, e-waiver iPad, Boutique technology, and laptop
  12. This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify check.

Qualifications

  1. Maintain and display a valid state-issued aesthetician, cosmetologist, or waxing license.
  2. Proven strong service history
  3. Flexibility regarding work hours; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  4. Can initiate and manage change in a positive manner
  5. Comfortable and competent at make-up application
  6. Strong communication skills
  7. Adept at problem-solving
  8. Flexible and adaptable to customer needs

Additional job duties if assigned as a key holder in the location:

  1. Maintain authority of personnel in the Boutique.
  2. Assume all opening/closing responsibilities.
  3. Receive increased security access within the Retail/ POS system.
  4. Maintain excellent cash management.
  5. Count cash and balance registers and cash deposits.
  6. Partner with the Regional Boutique Proprietor on ALL issues or questions.
  7. Use all resources and tools to create the best atmosphere for our customers and employees.
  8. All other duties as assigned.

The target salary range for this position is $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr. The actual salary offered will depend on various factors. This position is eligible to earn a sales incentive bonus and/or commission and includes benefits such as health, dental, vision plans, 401(k) with employer matching, paid time off programs, employee discounts, life insurance, and disability insurance.
