Job summary

Deep Blue Med Spa is seeking an experienced aesthetician to join its state-of-the-art New York clinic. You will perform cosmetic and aesthetic skin treatments, educate clients on procedures and aftercare, and ensure high-quality results for a loyal client base.

The role requires at least 2 years in aesthetics, strong communication, and comfort in a medical spa environment. Full-time with rotating shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

Deep Blue Med Spa, one of our valued partners, is looking for an Aesthetician to join their fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic located in New York.

Deep Blue Med Spa is an award-winning medical spa specializing in advanced aesthetic and wellness treatments. Our team of experienced physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical aestheticians is dedicated to providing personalized care through customized treatment plans designed to help every patient look and feel their best.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, with rotating shifts. The clinics are open Monday-Thursday 9AM-8PM and Friday & Saturdays from 9AM-6PM.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cosmetic and aesthetic procedures and treatments involving the skin, face, and body;
• Promote client retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care;
• Provide client education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare;
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice;
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required;
• Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions.
• Assist other providers with their clients and the practice's needs as directed;
• Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed;
• Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member;
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements;
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment;
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position; and
• Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetics as an aesthetician.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aesthetics field, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, educate them on treatments, and provide clear follow-through on their care plans.
• Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment is preferred.
• Proficient in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and demonstrating the ability to close sales effectively.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of treatments, including facials, chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and advanced procedures such as cosmetic lasers, light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols to recommend the best options for each client’s unique needs.

Compensation:

The salary for this position starts at 22$ per hour depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives and benefits.
