• Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring sterilization.
• Consult with physicians and nurses on procedures and treatment plans.
• Assess skin types and recommend skincare programs.
• Perform depilation, massage therapies, microdermabrasion and exfoliating procedures.
• Provide appearance counselling and educate patients on pre- and postsurgical care.

We are looking for an Aesthetician to assist in the delivery of cosmetic surgery and patient care management help. Applicants must be able to prioritize and adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner. Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Rooming and preparing patients for treatments; taking vitals
• Cleaning and restocking treatment rooms
• Assisting physicians in preparing for minor surgeries
• Coordinating cosmetic procedures (ordering garments, lab tests, scheduling, antibiotics)
• Preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
• Conferring with physicians and nurses regarding patient procedures and treatment plans
• Analyzing skin types and conditions; recommending a healthy skincare program.
• Conducting depilation techniques, specialized massage therapies, microdermabrasion and other exfoliating procedures
• Providing appearance counseling and educate patients on corrective makeup procedures.
• Educating patients on pre and postsurgical care, as well as routine homecare regimes.
• Acting as skincare coordinator, performing administrative tasks as needed

Experience

• One year of related work experience preferred

License/Certification

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants
