Responsibilities

• Rooming and preparing patients for treatments; taking vitals.
• Cleaning and restocking treatment rooms.
• Assisting physicians in preparing for minor surgeries.
• Coordinating cosmetic procedures (ordering garments, lab tests, scheduling, antibiotics).
• Preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Conferring with physicians and nurses regarding patient procedures and treatment plans.
• Analyzing skin types and conditions; recommending a healthy skincare program.
• Conducting depilation techniques, specialized massage therapies, microdermabrasion and other exfoliating procedures.
• Providing appearance counseling and educating patients on corrective makeup procedures.
• Educating patients on pre and postsurgical care, as well as routine homecare regimes.
• Acting as skincare coordinator, performing administrative tasks as needed.
