Job summary

Sono Bello is seeking a surgical support professional for our McLean, VA location. You will assist the full surgical experience, prepare instruments, and help ensure sterile, correctly labeled setups for procedures.

Join a fast-growing aesthetic practice with a patient-first focus and a stable schedule—no night shifts or holiday work. Compensation ranges from $26 to $33.50 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and instrument trays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and labeling standards.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, including basic report writing.
• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Able to interpret written, diagram, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Experience in patient care and working with physicians and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Support the full surgical experience: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room for procedures.
• Assist the physician during procedures as needed.
• Verify correct patient, procedure, and surgical site in the OR.
• Ensure all medications and solutions (including tumescent) are clearly and properly labeled.
• Maintain a sterile environment and clean/disinfect surgical instruments and rooms.
• Educate patients and caregivers on procedures, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Support patient discharge and return post-op calls.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and audit patient records.
