Job summary

Vanguard Aesthetic Plastic Surgery seeks a skilled Certified Physician Assistant with at least three years of experience, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery, to join its surgical team in Florida.

The role supports surgeons in the operating room and provides comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care within a collaborative clinical environment, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Florida PA license active and in good standing.
• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Minimum of three years of clinical PA experience, preferably in plastic/reconstructive surgery.
• Experience with loupe-assisted microsurgical cases is a plus.
• Comfort working across the full patient journey: pre-op, intra-op, post-op.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed surgeon.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative assessments and education.
• Support intraoperative procedures and assist with invasive techniques.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individual care plans.
• Engage in patient education to support informed decisions.
• Stay current with plastic surgery techniques and technologies.
