Job summary

Vanguard Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant with at least three years of experience, ideally in plastic or reconstructive surgery, to join our surgical team. The PA will support surgeons in the operating room, conduct comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes within a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant with active Florida licensure.
• Minimum of three years as a PA, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery.
• Loupe/microsurgical case experience is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under supervision of a licensed surgeon.
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments and patient education.
• Perform selected surgical procedures and assist with invasive techniques.
• Manage patient care before, during and after surgical interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Educate and counsel patients for informed decisions.
• Stay updated on advancements in plastic surgery techniques.
