About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established medical aesthetics practice in Santa Barbara to identify an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced aesthetics professional who is passionate about helping patients look and feel their best, takes pride in delivering natural-looking results, and enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in medical aesthetics, with strong experience performing both aesthetic injectables and laser treatments.

Candidates should be clinically confident, highly skilled in their area of practice, and comfortable providing personalized treatment recommendations based on each patient's goals and needs.

The primary practice location is in Santa Barbara, with approximately 1–2 days per week at the practice's Los Olivos location.

What You'll Do

• Conduct patient consultations and aesthetic assessments
• Discuss patients' aesthetic goals and develop individualized treatment recommendations
• Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including:
• Other injectable treatments within scope of practice
• Perform aesthetic laser and energy-based treatments
• Provide skin rejuvenation treatments to improve skin tone, texture, pigmentation, and overall appearance
• Perform tattoo removal treatments
• Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and appropriate aftercare
• Provide detailed pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Monitor patient outcomes and provide appropriate follow-up care
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients
• Maintain a high standard of patient safety, clinical quality, and professionalism
• Stay current on advancements in aesthetic medicine, injectables, laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation
• Collaborate with the practice team to provide an exceptional patient experience
• Provide coverage at the Los Olivos location approximately 1–2 days per week (preferred)

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Current California Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse license in good standing
• 3-5+ years of nursing experience
• Excellent clinical judgment and attention to patient safety
• Confident, professional, and personable bedside manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for aesthetics and delivering exceptional patient outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in medical aesthetics
• Demonstrated experience performing aesthetic injectables
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with aesthetic lasers and/or energy-based devices
• Strong experience with neurotoxins and dermal fillers
• Experience with skin rejuvenation treatments
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy, aesthetics, and injection techniques
• Experience with tattoo removal
• Experience with multiple laser platforms and aesthetic technologies
• Established patient following or experience building a loyal patient base
• Additional certifications or advanced training in aesthetic injectables, lasers, or other aesthetic treatments
• Experience in a high-end medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or similar clinical environment
