Role Description/What you'll be trained on:
Pulse Holistic MedSpa opens in Wixom, Michigan in early 2027. We're building a med spa around calm, beautiful, honest and safe care: high-quality treatment, integrity, safety, education, and an experience clients remember. Every visit starts with a skin analysis, a conversation about goals, and a written plan with clear pricing. We focus on natural-looking results and long-term skin health, not quick fixes. Our services include injectables and dermal fillers, laser and light treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, IV hydration, massage, and brow, lash and waxing services.
Clinical care, under physician delegation and written standing orders
- Neurotoxins, dermal fillers, skin boosters and biostimulators, and filler dissolving
- Laser and light treatments (resurfacing, brown spots and redness, laser hair removal, and spot and vein work) when needed, supporting our clinical director
- Microneedling with PRP and PRF, PRF injections, and medical-grade chemical peels
- IV vitamin and hydration therapy and B12 injections. You'll monitor up to two IV clients at once in our IV lounge
Consultations and treatment plans
- Lead consultations with our technology for skin imaging. Take a full health history and medication review
- Propose a written 3-12 month treatment plan with prices, within our protocols and the prescriber's good faith exam
- Confirm every new medical client has a completed good faith exam before treatment
- Recommend only what the client needs
- Follow up with every injectable client at two weeks, and rebook clients at the interval based on their plan recommendation.
Safety and documentation
- Follow our medical director's protocols for every treatment, including dose limits and complication protocols (vascular occlusion, allergic reaction, laser burns)
- Know where the emergency kit and AED are, and maintain a current BLS
- Use laser eye protection and our laser safety rules every time
- Chart every visit the same day in Portrait EMR: consents, lot numbers, units, settings, and before-and-after photos
- Immediately report any complication or concern to the clinical director and the medical director
The clinic
- Set up, clean and disinfect your room and equipment before, between and after every client
- Help with the medical fridge temperature log, AED log, and eye wash station log, inventory, expiration dates and medical waste
- Help restock linens, and share opening and closing checklists with the team
- Join the weekly team huddle and a quarterly one-on-one
- Help with social media and marketing content
What you bring
- An active, unrestricted Michigan RN license
- At least two years of aesthetic injecting
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with lasers, IV therapy or PRP is a plus. We'll train you on our devices
- A commitment to natural results, patient safety and careful documentation
- Calm, clear communication, and the confidence to tell a client the honest answer
You’ll thrive here if
you'd rather do the right treatment than the biggest one, you enjoy teaching clients how their skin works, and you want a team that has your back.
