Job summary

Avalon Laser in Carlsbad, CA seeks an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Provider (RN or NP) to deliver injectables and laser/energy-based treatments. You will build patient relationships, develop personalized plans, and contribute to a growing cosmetic practice.

Responsibilities include consultations, executing a full treatment menu (laser, microneedling, IPL, hair removal, RF skin tightening), maintaining compliant records, and guiding patients on skincare packages. Base pay plus commissions apply.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license or NP with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on aesthetic/cosmetic experience across injectables and laser/energy-device treatments.
• Proficiency with full treatment list; training or certification in modalities preferred.
• Strong consultative and communication skills; comfortable discussing treatment plans and pricing.
• Track record of patient retention and rebooking is a plus.

About the Role

Avalon Laser is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Provider to join our team at our Carlsbad location. This role is ideal for a licensed RN or NP with a strong foundation in both injectables and laser/energy-based devices, who is confident building genuine patient relationships and driving results-focused treatment plans.

You’ll work across a comprehensive treatment menu, with the opportunity to build a loyal client base, grow your own book of business, and be rewarded for it — this role includes a competitive base pay plus production-based commission.

What You'll Do

Perform consultations and treatments across our full aesthetic menu, including:

• Clear + Brilliant laser
• RF (radiofrequency) microneedling
• Microneedling
• IPL (photofacial)
• Laser hair removal
• Radiofrequency skin tightening
• Hair restoration treatments

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's goals, educating them on options and realistic expectations
• Build long-term patient relationships that drive rebooking and referrals
• Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and treatment records
• Recommend appropriate skincare, packages, and memberships as part of a complete patient care plan -Collaborate with clinic leadership and medical director on protocols and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in California (or NP with prescriptive authority — please indicate credential)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on aesthetic/cosmetic experience, with demonstrated proficiency across both injectables and laser/energy-device treatments
• Comfort and independent competency with the full treatment list above — training or certification history in each modality preferred
• Strong consultative and communication skills; comfortable discussing treatment plans, pricing, and add-on recommendations with patients
• A track record of patient retention and rebooking is a plus
• Reliable, professional, and collaborative — someone who takes ownership of their schedule and their patients' outcomes

Compensation

Base pay: $50+/hour, commensurate with experience and demonstrated scope of practice — benchmarked to San Diego-area market rates for experienced, full-scope aesthetic injectors and laser providers.

Additional opportunities to earn commission on personal treatment production above a set monthly baseline, with additional commission available on retail/skincare and package/membership sales — giving experienced providers meaningful, uncapped earning potential beyond base pay.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10am–5pm, and select Saturdays.
