Job summary

Weiler Plastic Surgery Group in Lafayette, LA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver comprehensive patient care, including vital signs, procedural support, and patient education. The LPN will document in EHR, collaborate with physicians and staff, and assist with injections under MD guidance to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma or Certificate.
• Experience in hospital or aesthetics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording vital signs and relaying information to the MD.
• Assisting with medical procedures and patient examinations.
• Assessing patient condition and reporting changes to physicians.
• Providing patient education on treatments, self-care, and infection precautions.
• Wound care and assisting patients in and out of the clinic.
• Laboratory draws and processing prescriptions under MD direction.
• Assisting Nurse Practitioner with injectables (e.g., Botox, fillers) and taking before/after photos.
• Maintaining accurate EHR documentation and patient records.
• Maintaining clean, stocked clinic rooms and ensuring safety and hygiene.
