Job summary

CPP Clinics is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented front desk receptionist for our Des Moines aesthetics clinic. You will greet guests, assist with check‑ins/outs, handle calls and emails, and coordinate appointments for 16+ providers to ensure smooth operations.

This part‑time role offers Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00–16:30 and rotating Saturdays, with competitive compensation, health and dental benefits, 401(k) matching, and aesthetic industry perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct customer service in fast-paced retail or hospitality.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Experience with computer/phone/typing.
• Trustworthy and responsible including handling large payments.
• Warm, enthusiastic, hospitable manner.
• Strong listening skills and empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle difficult client situations with discretion.
• Positive attitude with team members, management, providers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Accurately book, change and cancel appointments for 16+ providers and 19+ treatment rooms.
• Warmly greet and assist clients with all check-in/check-out needs at front desk.
• Maintain proper office opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain control of point-of-sale, handling billing/sales, cash and electronic payments.
• Receive incoming calls politely and practice proper phone etiquette.
• Describe services accurately and book clients for consultations/treatments.
• Describe and promote retail products; assist with sales.
• Escort clients through clinic/spa including to the lidocaine lounge.
• Help guests settle in locker rooms and spa amenities.
• Promote sales and promotions details; assist with Aesthetic Club Membership signups.
• Keep reception and lobby areas immaculate; restock retail.
• Resolve client complaints; alert Manager to concerns.
