Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to support the fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures for a leading aerospace company. The role requires experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding, ability to read basic blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Two shifts are available (1st 6:00am–4:30pm, 2nd 4:00pm–2:30am); benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, bonuses, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience assisting with fabrication and assembly of components from engineering specifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Fit, assemble, and weld components according to specifications.
• Assist Journeyman Welders with fabrication and assembly projects.
• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on various materials and assemblies.
• Use welding fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operate hand grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish welded parts.
• Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
