Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a experienced Combination Welder to fabricate prototypes, ground support equipment, and flight production hardware. You will work with stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, nickel, Inconel, and titanium, applying GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW techniques while collaborating with design and production teams.

Candidates should have 7+ years of welding and fabrication experience, be able to interpret engineering drawings, and maintain welding equipment in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• 7+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of welding standards and materials.
• Direct experience with GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
• Aerospace welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld using GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW to fabricate prototypes and hardware.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to develop manufacturing processes.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment and workstations.
• Work with metals including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Nickel, Inconel, and Titanium.
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.
