Job summary

Aerotec International in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Welder AWS D17.1 to join our Machine Shop team. You will work with multiple welding techniques and materials, requiring a steady hand and keen attention to detail. Knowledge of different metals and their properties is essential for success.

The role is full-time, based at 3007 E. Chambers St, Phoenix, with pay rate $24 per hour plus DOE. Benefits include 401(k), health, vision, and life insurance, PTO and holidays, and career growth

Qualifications

• AWS D17.1 welder certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple welding techniques and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a steady hand is essential.
• Knowledge of different metals and their properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, Plasma, E-Beam, Laser, and Pulse welding on turbine engine parts.
• Work with various metals including Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Adhere to safety and FAA requirements in daily tasks.
