Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Visual Inspector on 1st shift to inspect castings, verify dimensions, and record results. The role requires attention to detail and may involve using gauges, micrometers, and calipers to ensure adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.
• Certification completed by CPP.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspection of castings using bore scope and fiber optic to check defects.
• Verifies dimensions of castings using gauges and micrometers to ensure customer specs.
• Uses hand grinders to make minor repairs and correct defects.
• Initiates NMRs to route defective castings for repair.
• Maintains accurate inspection records.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required.
